Yeah, I’m still alive, and now some news

I was in Beijing because Hopper was here for a tour in China. What is Hopper? It’s a music band ( http://www.wearehopper.com ), and Dorothée, 1 of the 2 singers, is my brother’s gf, then og course I had to go to Beijing to see them

They arrived in Beijing at 04/28, and leaved China 05/09. They played in Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing, I just went to Beijing. That was really nice.

Monday 04/28:

I took shuttle to go to Beijing airport (and I’m really happy, I told to taxi driver in Chinese: “I want to go to shuttle to go to Beijing airport” and he understood hehe), I arrived in new terminal in Beijing, biggest of the world, and yes, it’s really big, but very clean, and beautiful (Sorry, no pic). I met them at 11:00 with Yoan, French guy living in Beijing, here to fine date for the band. We were 8: Hopper(Dorothée, Aurélia, Jean, Jean-yves), Sylvain (cameraman), Clothilde (vocal coach. In fact, someone told me she is not, I have to ask…), Yoan, and me.

Tuesday 04/29:

Tuesday we decided to go to forbidden city. I was a little angry, because it’s written for students it’s 20 and not 60, but girl said: no, only for Chinese, even if I’m living in China… But that was beautiful, as usual, but 3 hours is too short to visit this place After we went to Silk market to buy some clothes, and really, this place is funny ^^

And to finish our day, we went with Yoan in some bar to nan luo gu xiang, very old street in Beijing, nice place.

Wednesday 04/30:

Wednesday Hopper has play in scene, called “Mao live”, just 4 songs, to present them, and announce they will play here again 7 days later. After they played in jiang hu bar, very nice place, and also nice songs

Hey, long time without news!

Because last week I was in Beijing, then I was not with my computer. I don’t have time right now, but next week I will post what I did since last time, with some pictures, bye!

Last week I did some sport, and saturday I was in a badminton competition, I didn’t played but I have taken some pictures (About the competition, we lost in the morning, then we didn’t stay a long time).

And after, we went all together to restaurant, that was good, so many food

Here weather is nice, almost 30°C, that begin to be very hot, I think next month that will be so warm ^^

Long time I didn’t post any news!

Since last time, no big news, life continue here, just some Chinese now hate French because of what’s going on about Olympic Games. That’s too bad, I like China, that’s sad when I hear “I hate French”, just hope they will change their mind. But no problems for me, people are still nice with me, and I’m still nice with them, whatever they can say

Friday I went to Alibaba with Florian, François and Raymond, that was really nice, this is really a nice place. Lot of foreigners, and even if you don’t know people, just go to talk to them that’s not a problem, that’s really funny

I met some french (Damien, creator of finger-skates, if you want here: closeup), Germans, Canadian, Swedish… and of course Chinese

We should go more here, very nice place.

Friday I went to cinema to sea “Benjamin Gates 2″ (Sorry, forgotten the name), and the good point is, I almost all understood, and that was a really nice movie, and not too expensive, with my student card, only 30 RMB. I think I will go again

Saturday we had a nice party!

Yes, I’m registered on an expats web site (http://www.tianjinexpats.com), and for 3 years anniversary of the website, the admin has organised a big party. We went to the french restaurant, C’est la Vie, maybe we were 100, that was really nice to meet all this people I already knew by internet, and as usual, I have taken lot of pictures. I will only put some here, not all 130 ^^ And after restaurant, we finish in SOHO Bar, that was funny too. Admin, you should do this more!

Otherwise, thursday, people in Tianjin used their last fireworks, all the days we heard noise, but that was better during the night, and I have taken some pictures, and now we have to wait next year to have fireworks everywhere in Tianjin
